Stampin Up! Tutorial #16

Hello Stamping  friends. Sorry for not posting sooner. The summer is winding down and I hope to have more tutorials to show you. Today I want to show you a fun easy card. I have it stamped it with a Thanksgiving theme but you could change it up to suit your needs. 

I used the Day of Gratitude stamp set. I stamped on Very Vanilla card stock using Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze & More Mustard. I did three of each color.

 I used Chocolate Chip ink pad on Very Vanilla to stamp the pine cones. Cut the leaves and pine cones out with scissors.

 Here is the finally product all cut out.

 I used Cajun Craze as the base of my card and layered it with Orchard Harvest DSP.

I then layered the center with Cajun Craze and early espresso, I used the big shot and the square Lattice embossing folder. Using stampin dimensionals I adhered the leaves to the embossed early espresso.

This card is fun and colorful. Great as  Thanksgiving card or thinking of you card. I hope you give it a try. Tutorial Tuesday...Stampin Up! Tutorial #15

This card is quick and easy and BEAUTIFUL!!! You can get the punch right now for sale on my website in the clearance section. http://katherinelepiane.stampinup.net

 I used Daffodil delight cardstock for this card. Cut the paper 11" x 4 1/4". Next you will need the Lace Ribbon Border punch (retired). Now you have to watch how you punch the sides very carefully. Make sure you line the punch up on either side of the paper.

Next I used whisper white cardstock in the center. I used Everything Eleanor as my stamp set. I used gumball green and daffodil delight ink pad.

Next I glued down the whisper white card stock to the center of my card. I used both rhinestones and pearls for the embellishments on the flower punch.

I stamped a few flowers on separate cardstock and cut them out individually. Then I adhered them using dimensionals.

I stamped in daffodil delight my greeting and your done. Wasn't that a fast and great card!!!! Here are a few other designs I came up with. It was a great mother's day card.

Stylin Sunday... Stampin Up! Tutorial # 14

Today I want to show you a Layered Window Frame card. I am CASING it from Split coast Stampers. Great website with loads of ideas and forums.  You can do this card in any color scheme you would like. Today I have chosen Black, Basic Grey and Whisper White.

Step 1:  you will need to start off with a piece of cardstock cut to 4 1/4" x 11". Score the 4 1/4" x 11" cardstock at 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 6 1/2" and 7 1/2".

Step 2: Fold up with Valley, Mountain, Mountain, and Valley Folds. Crease well.

Step 3: Lay the largest die on the folded card, making sure to center it top to bottom and exactly around the mountain folds. Use reposition able tape to hold die in place. Cut using bigshot.

Step 4: Using the third Largest die, cut out front of the card using the big shot.

Step 5: Again using the third largest die, with cutting edge facing up, trace around the outer edge of the die. Cut out with scissors. This will be the backing of the card front (step 4).

Step 6: Stamp image on the front of the card. Sponge around edges to soften the look. Layer it to the backing using dimensional adhesive.

Step 7: Stamp the same image (or a different image if desired) on the two 1 1/2" x 3 1/4" pieces. Sponge around edges to soften. Adhere them to each side of the card, the part that will be folded behind the front.

Step 8: Adhere the front image to the center of the folded card, making sure to only apply adhesive to the CENTER of it. Otherwise, the sides of the card will not pull out.

Step 9: The card will stand alone when the sides are pulled out a bit.
