St. Patrick's Day - March 17th

St. Patrick's day is just around the corner

I thought I would get a head start on my St. Patrick's day cards since it is right around the corner. I try to send cards every holiday because I LOVE to make cards and make people smile. I CASED this card from Sandy Hancock, it was a post from 2012.
I used Gumball green which is retired but a wonderful color. I used the 3rd smallest heart framelit and cut out 9 hearts and embossed them using the small dots embossing folder which is also retired. For the stem I cut out a large oval framelit and then I moved the framelit in about a 1/4" or so and cut off a curved edge for the stem. To finish is off I used a large pearl. The background is embossed with strips embossing folder. Stampin' Up! doesn't come out with a St. Patrick's day stamps very often. Since I have been a demonstrator, which is 4 years, I don't believe I have seen one. So the next time one rolls out, I plan on picking it up.

I love to hear your comments, so please take a moment to let me know what you think. Thank you for stopping by and until next time keep Stampin With Katherine. Cards are for sale on Etsy - stampin with katherine.

Happy Birthday Sloan

Happy Birthday Sloan!!!

There is a sweet little girl in my town that I read about yesterday who has a birthday coming up. She has a tumor on her face and all she wants for her birthday is birthday cards. How could I resist making this precious little girls day. So I created a birthday card for her with a surprise inside. Please take time to read her story and if you have time please send her a birthday card at Sloan McGillis, C/O General Delivery, Missoula MT 59806. Her birthday is February 25th.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will your comments and send this little girl a birthday card! #imbringingbirthdaysback  Until next time keep Stampin' With Katherine.
