I'm back with a halloween card

BACK AND READY FOR HALLOWEEN

Sorry for my absence, I have not been able to attend to my blog like I should. I started a new job about a year ago and it has kept me really busy! Between work, home and kids I have not had much time to make cards. But am I hoping to get back in to the swing of things and that means sharing my cards with you. So let's get started.

HALLOWEEN PEEK-A-BOO CARD

This is an old favorite technique I just love. You can do so many things with it. I choose to do a Halloween theme and use some of the new stamp sets from the Holiday catalog.

Here are a few views of the finished card. I choose two different colors, Bravo Burgundy & Tangerine Tango. What I love about the Peek-a-boo card is there is a hidden surprise to the one receiving it. You need two pieces of card stock to make this card. First piece measuring 5 1/2"X6 1/8" and you score on the 6 1/8" side at 4 1/4", second piece is 5 1/2"x11" and you score on the 11" side at 3 1/2" & 7". You will need the 1 3/8" circle punch and the 1 3/4" scallop punch. If you check out the youtube video by Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, she has a great video for you to follow.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Until next time keep stamping with Katherine.
