Stampin' Up! Sympathy Card
Sympathy card tutorial...
1. Using Chocolate Chip cardstock as my card base it measures 5-1/2"x11", fold at 5-1/2"2. I used Marina Mist cardstock measuring 5-1/2"x4" and ran it through the Bigshot using the Lattice embossing folder.
3. Using chocolate chip cardstock measuring 2-1/2"x4" and rounding only two opposite corners and layering that with Very Vanilla cardstock measureing 2-1/4"x3-3/4" rounding the same corners as the previous piece of Chocolate chip cardstock. I stamped on the Very Vanilla using the En Francis stamp in Chocolate chip ink and placed that on the front of the card on the Marina Mist.
4. I used the 4th largest circle framelit to cut a Very Vanilla circle for the front which I inked the edges with a sponge using Chocolate Chip ink pad. I stamped my sentament on the front and then glued it to the front.
5. Next I took a piece of Marina Mist cardstock and stamped using the Secret Garden flower stamp using Versa mark ink pad. I then used Whisper White embossing powder and heat embossed the flowers.
6. I then used the Secret Garden Framelits to cut those flowers out. I also used the Secret Garden leaf framelit and cut out some leaves using Old Olive cardstock.
7. I cut out a center flower from the big flower and layered them using dimensionals, this really makes the flowers stand out. I cut the leaves and placed them around each flower. Here is an example.
