Technique Tuesday - Stampin Up Tutorial #5

Time for a new technique! It's called the Kissing Technique and if your wondering, there are no germs involved:) The kissing technique allows you to combine two stamps and get a unique look. Lets get started.

Supply list:
Whisper White card stock - item # 100730
Summer Starfruit card stock - item # 126839
Sycamore Street designer series paper - item # 127540 (only available until 3/22 with sale-a-bration, hurry now)
Blossom punch - item # 125603
Mixed bunch - item # 125537
Big shot - item # 113439
Lattice embossing folder - item # 119976
Envelope to fit this card is a square envelope - item # 107309

We are going to make a small card today, it is so cute! It is a 3x3 card. You want to start off with a piece of Whisper White card stock measuring 3x6.
Next you want to use a piece of Summer Starfruit measuring 2 3/4 x 2 3/4.
I put the Summer Starfruit through the big shot using the Lattice embossing folder.
I adhered the Summer Starfruit to the Whisper White card stock.
Then I cut a strip of  Sycamore Street designer series paper measuring 1/2 x 2 3/4. Adhere this with snail to your card.
Now for the Technique..... I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set with coordinating punch.
This is how the technique works.... You want to select a solid stamp and you can ink it with a lighter color or do not ink it. I choose to ink the solid flower in Pool Party. Then select a larger patterned stamp and ink it up, I choose Island Indigo. Now you want to stamp the uninked/ or lighter inked stamp against the patterned stamp. Then you stamp that on to the Whisper White card stock.

I then used the coordinating blossom punch to cut it out.
Isn't that design awesome and unique!!!
What are you going to make with this new technique!!!

 Until next time.... Happy stamping!
