Butterfly place card - Stampin Tutorial #7

This is so cute, I think this would be perfect for a mother's day tea place setting. So let's get started.

Supplies:
Any Embossing folder on pg 189 in 2012-2013 catalog
Beautiful butterflies bigz - item # 114507
Snail adhesive - item # 104332
Stampin Dimensionals - item # 104430
Antique Brads - item # 117273
Pretty in pink card stock - item # 100459
Pretty in pink Classic Stampin pad - item # 126955
Word Window punch - item # 119857
Sponge Daubers - item # 102892
Bone Folder - item #102300
Big shot - item #113439
Cut  a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock to run through the big shot with the beautiful butterflies bigz.
You want to fold the Pretty in pink card stock in half. You don't want to cut out the whole butterfly to start, so you want to stay below the cut line in the bigz die to get a connected folded butterfly.
This is what it will look like when cut out.
Now you want to fold back the top butterfly half way as shown below.

Now you want to cut out a single full size butterfly using the same template you just used and a small butterfly using the Pretty in pink card stock.
Now run the single butterfly's through the big shot using the embossing folder of your choice. I used a retired embossing folder because I like it, sorry!
Next you want to use the sponge dauber in the Pretty in Pink to ink the edges of both butterflies.
Now you want to glue the large butterfly to the butterfly you folded in half earlier using the snail adhesive. Line it up to match.

Now take the small butterfly and using the piercing tool, pierce the center and insert an antique brad.

Now you want to place a stampin dimensional on the back of the brad before placing it on the large butterfly.
Now use the window punch with the Pretty in Pink card stock and cut it out to place on the butterfly. This will hold the butterfly in place. You can stamp a name or a small saying on the word window piece or leave blank.
This is so easy and fun to make. This will still the show at every party. Happy stamping.... stampin with Katherine.
