White Wash Technique.......Stampin Up Tutorial #13

I am so sorry to all my readers about my absence but boy are you in for a treat today. I love this technique. You have to have time and love to color.
To start off, I used Crumb Cake card stock. With the top note and the big shot I cut out a Crumb Cake top note. I cut off one side.

I used a white craft ink pad, Whisper White embossing powder, Secret Garden stamp set and embossing gun.  I stamped in the white craft ink and heat set it with the embossing powder.
Next I used a water pen to paint the white craft ink on the flowers, don't use to much, a small amount goes a long way.

Once you have all the flowers painted you can leave it over night to dry or if your in a hurry to see the results you can heat set it with the embossing gun. Next pick your color of choice ink pad. When the ink pad is closed, squeeze the ink pad against the lid and you will have ink ready to go. I choose Island Indigo. This is so much fun. Once again you can let it set over night or heat set it. I want to see the results to I heat set.
I choose Crumb Cake card stock as my base card and cut DSP Island Indigo 5 1/4x4.

I used a piece of vellum, big shot and Apothecary Accents framelits. I heat embossed using whisper white my saying.
This is so cool. Make sure you give it a try. Don't forget to sign up for my posts to come directly to your inbox! Check out my website and new clearance items. http://katherinelepiane.stampinup.net
